What you make, the sizes and options you offer, and where the rules live today.
We check whether your units come down to components, counts, cut lengths and panel sizes, and tell you plainly if FactorySpec is not right for you.
Your product expert supplies the rules and worked examples, and a separate reviewer approves the release before units are evaluated.
Drawings, engineering files, spreadsheets or customer data. The form is for a description of your products and process, and onboarding sets out how your data is handled.
Enquiries are handled by Obsidian Black Ltd, the company behind SmartFACT. The FactorySpec privacy notice explains how your enquiry is handled. Submitting the form does not create an account.
BEFORE YOU ASK
No. FactorySpec takes a unit’s dimensions and options and returns its manufacturing requirements as a PDF and a JSON file. How results reach your other systems is agreed during onboarding.
Yes. Engineering tables import from CSV files and whole models from JSON. Calculations are rebuilt as tested steps in the model rather than run from spreadsheet formulas.
No. AI helps turn a plain English condition into a precise rule while you set up the model, and your experts test and approve it. Calculations, components and tables are yours. Each unit is evaluated against the approved release exactly, with no AI call.
Pricing, implementation and support are agreed with you before you commit. Requesting early access is free.
